The Mustang Trail Blazers Volleyball Club is a non-traditional volleyball club developed in 2008 to meet the growing demand for a quality volleyball program in the community surrounding Monterey Trail High School. Our club is different from traditional volleyball clubs because we do not hold tryouts nor cut girls from our program. We function as a non-profit entity apart of the Monterey Trail Booster Club managed and coordinated by committed coaches and parents solely for the benefit of the girls in our community.
In our inaugural season of 2008, we accepted the daunting challenge of creating an entire volleyball club from scratch. Despite the odds, we were successful in providing a place to play for almost 70 girls in our community. We created two full competition teams, hosted multiple clinics, a full summer camp and founded a "Practice Only" program targeting girls and families that have the desire to play but not the finances for our full program. Our crowning achievement was taking our 18s team to the semi-finals in the Northern California AAU Super-Regionals at William Jessup University. Our girls exceeded expectation and performed like champions.

| We are constantly working on new ways to provide a better program for our community and always looking forward. In 2012, we will continue travelling and playing locally with our 18s and move our 16s to the same format. We will seek out competition within NCVA, AAU and SRVA. In addition, we will continue to work with our girls beginning their volleyball careers in our training only program. Push on Blazers! Who knows where the future will take us.
